We at Double the Donation work with nonprofits to increase their fundraising capabilities. We do this by helping organizations effectively utilize corporate matching gifts and employee volunteer grants.
We receive many questions asking about the companies that offer these programs in different cities. Below we highlight a few of the major companies who match employee donations in Sacramento.
Sacramento and Corporate Gift Matching
Sacramento is the capital of the state and has a metropolitan population of just over two and half million. It is one of the locations of the California University system’s colleges. UC Davis is also located nearby. The state of California is the #1 employer in the city but Sacramento is home to many companies that are heavily engaged in philanthropy.
The numerous museums, artistic, and cultural institutions in the city could all benefit from a greater awareness of the companies offering matching gift programs. These corporate giving programs are one of the simplest ways an organization can increase their funds from existing donors.
