Matching gift process<p>Double the Donation matches donations made by employees or the employee's significant other. (ex. Married, Partner, long-term dating when you live together) to&nbsp;most nonprofits including:</p> <ul> <li>Educational institutions (K-12 included)</li> <li>Health and human services</li> <li>Arts and cultural organizations</li> <li>Civic and community organizations</li> <li>Environmental organizations</li> <li>And most 501 (c)(3) organizations</li> </ul> <p>The company matches donations at a 1:1 rate, up to $100 per employee per year through the regular matching gift program.</p> <p><strong>Affinity Month Matching Gift Program:</strong><br />Double the Donation matches at a 2:1 rate ($2 company contribution per $1 employee donation) on donations made during affinity months to causes related to that specific affinity month.&nbsp;</p> <p>The company will match donations made by the employee or the employee's significant other. (ex. Married, Partner, long-term dating when you live together).</p> <p>Impact Ventures uses the following Affinity Months :</p> <ul> <li>Black History Month (February)</li> <li>Women&rsquo;s History Month (March)</li> <li>Arab-American Heritage Month (April)</li> <li>National Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (May)</li> <li>LGBTQ+ Pride Month (June)</li> <li>National Hispanic Heritage Month (September)</li> <li>National Disability Employment Awareness Month (October)</li> <li>National Native American Heritage Month (November)</li> </ul> <p>Employees can have gifts of up to 50/employee donation per month (Max $100 company match per employee) and the match is available for up to two causes per employee per year (Max $200 total company match per year).</p> <p><strong>Double the Donation's Matching Gift Submission Process:</strong><br />Make the matching gift donation using your company credit card directly to the organization. Upon doing so, forward the Donation Confirmation email to giving@doublethedonation.com.</p> <p>For questions, employees should reach out to Kanwei, Double the Donation's Matching Gift Program administrator.</p>

Volunteer grants process<p>Double the Donation offers two different service-based grant programs:</p> <p><strong>Volunteer Grants:</strong><br />Double the Donation wants to support organizations that you&rsquo;re actively volunteering at during your Double the Donation employment. If you volunteer more than 25 hours in the 1st 11 months (Jan. - Nov.) of a calendar year with a single organization (during your employment at Double the Donation, Double the Donation will make a $100 donation to the organization,</p> <p><strong>Volunteer Grant Submission Process:</strong><br />Between Dec. 1st - Dec. 14 of each year, email giving@doublethedonation.com with the following:</p> <ul> <li>Organization Name</li> <li>Organization Website</li> <li>Two sentence summary of your ongoing volunteer throughout the year</li> <li>Total hours you volunteered with the organization during Jan - Nov. of the calendar year</li> <li>URL where Double the Donation will make an online donation by the end of the year upon approval</li> </ul> <p><strong>Run/Walk/Ride Sponsorship:</strong><br />Double the Donation wants to support your participation in Run/Walk/Ride type of events where you actively fundraise (and participate) for a nonprofit. 1x per calendar year, employees can use their company credit card to make a $50 online donation directly to the nonprofit which you&rsquo;re fundraising and participating in a Run/Walk/Ride event during your Double the Donation employment.</p> <p><strong>Run/Walk/Ride Sponsorship Submission Process:</strong><br />Make a donation using your Double the Donation credit card directly to the organization. Upon doing so, forward the Donation Confirmation email to giving@doublethedonation.com.</p> <p>Double the Donation's Giving Program Administrator is Kanwei. Any questions about Double the Donation's Giving Programs should go to Kanwei.</p>
