Matching gift process

Northrop Grumman matches employee donations made to US educational institutions. These include:

  • Private and public primary and secondary schools (K-12) 
  • Two- and four-year colleges or universities,
  • Graduate schools, dental, medical or law schools,
  • Vocational or technical schools 
  • Alumni foundations, fundraising entities, or support groups (PTA, PTO, PTSA, etc.) 

Ineligible causes/organizations include, but are not limited to, athletics, bands, tV/radio stations, theatre, school/mission trips, campus student organizations (sororities, fraternities, honor societies, etc), and home schools.

Northrop Grumman Matching Gift Submission Process
Employees should register their matching gift requests electronically at {{forms}}.

Employees should submit their requests by October 31st.

Northrop Grumman provides grants to nonprofits where employees volunteer on a regular basis.
Eligible employees can apply for a $500 Community Service Grant benefiting a nonprofit organization or school for which they volunteer. To be eligible for consideration, employees must volunteer at least 40 hours with qualifying organizations and log their hours in the My Giving portal.

Community Service Grants in Three Easy Steps:

  • Volunteer at least 40 hours with one or more 501(c)(3) non-profit, nonpartisan and nonreligious organizations or schools. Hours must be accumulated during the grant cycle, which is January 1 through December 31.
  • Log your volunteer hours.
  • After logging 40 volunteer hours, you may submit your Community Service Grant application to benefit any of the organizations for which you have logged volunteer hours. No more than one single grant will be awarded per employee, per grant cycle.
