Electronic Matching Gift Submission Process
Companies continue to make the transition to an entirely electronic process for submitting match requests. This reduces the matching gift administration costs for corporations while making it easier for employees and nonprofits to move through the matching gift process. Where possible, we direct donors to their company’s online submission process so they can easily complete the process in minutes.
Paper Matching Gift Forms on the Company's Website
When a company provides the matching gift form on their website, we direct donors directly to the webpage to ensure they’re always accessing the most up-to-date form. When a company allows both electronic as well as paper submissions, we default to the electronic matching gift submission process.
Paper Matching Gift Forms on Double the Donation's Website
Some companies provide matching gift forms on their intranets rather than publishing match forms on publicly accessible websites.
In many cases, we’re able to obtain a copy of the form to share with our nonprofit customers’ donors. If we have the form, we’ll store it on our servers and provide access to your donors.
Providing Instructions for Accessing the Match Process
Unfortunately there are cases where we’re unable to provide donors with immediate access to match forms. This is most commonly due to some companies offering an electronic submission only accessible through a company intranet.
