The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a state and federally licensed zoological facility and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are the largest and oldest non-profit for large carnivores, dedicated to rescuing these magnificent animals from horrific captive situations and rehabilitating them so they can live and roam freely within large natural habitats with others of their own kind. Through our rescue efforts and educating the public about the causes of and solutions to the world’s captive wildlife crisis, we strive to fulfill our mission of preventing and alleviating cruelty to captive-born animals.
Please help us in our mission by asking your employer to match a donation today!
Many corporations match employee donations (or the tax deductible component of your membership) to our organization. If you volunteer with us, your employer may also offer a volunteer grant program.
Thanks for checking to see if your company offers these programs!
Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations. It's an easy way to double your contribution to us!
Requesting a matching gift is normally a five-minute process that must be initiated by the donor. You can do this through an electronic submission process or by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer. Please search our database above for company-specific information.
Many companies offer Volunteer Grants (often called "Dollars for Doers"). If you volunteer a certain number of hours with us, your employer may provide us with a financial grant in recognition of your time. Some companies also offer Volunteer Time Off (VTO), allowing you to volunteer during work hours without using your personal PTO. Search for your employer above to see if these programs are available to you.
We partner with a company called Double the Donation. If you see anything that should be changed, please email Double the Donation's team at data@doublethedonation.com.
