At the Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA), we're dedicated to providing for the pet population of our community in three amazing ways: Shelter & Placement, Prevention, and Education & Outreach.
Unlike many national animal welfare organizations, the HSSA is located right here in your community – providing care for animals in need 365 days a year. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with any national humane societies. We rely on neighbors like you to enable us to do our needed work.
Employer Matching Gifts offer a simple, easy way to double (and sometimes triple) your contribution in support of HSSA's programs.
Many businesses match employee donations (or the tax deductible component of your donation) to our organization. Many also match retiree gifts, too!
And, if you volunteer with us, your employer may also provide us with a grant as a way to recognize your ongoing support.

Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations. It's an easy way to double your contribution to us!
Requesting a matching gift is normally a five-minute process that must be initiated by the donor. You can do this through an electronic submission process or by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer. Please search our database above for company-specific information.
Many companies offer Volunteer Grants (often called "Dollars for Doers"). If you volunteer a certain number of hours with us, your employer may provide us with a financial grant in recognition of your time. Some companies also offer Volunteer Time Off (VTO), allowing you to volunteer during work hours without using your personal PTO. Search for your employer above to see if these programs are available to you.
