At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, we're dedicated to creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. An easy way to double your contribution is through employee giving and volunteer grant programs.
It takes money to carefully screen, interview, and support the volunteers and families in our program. Our professionally trained Match Support Specialists actively oversee each Big & Little “match” to help them develop the strong, continuing relationships that provide the greatest benefit to the kids in our program. And there are always more children who can benefit from a relationship with a mentor. We’d like to provide a mentor to every single child who wants and needs one, but we can’t–without your help.
Many corporations match employee donations (or the tax-deductible component of your membership) to our organization.
If you volunteer with us as a Big, your employer may also provide us with a grant as a way to recognize your ongoing support.

Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations. It's an easy way to double your contribution to us!
Requesting a matching gift is normally a five-minute process that must be initiated by the donor. You can do this through an electronic submission process or by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer. Please search our database above for company-specific information.
Many companies offer Volunteer Grants (often called "Dollars for Doers"). If you volunteer a certain number of hours with us, your employer may provide us with a financial grant in recognition of your time. Some companies also offer Volunteer Time Off (VTO), allowing you to volunteer during work hours without using your personal PTO. Search for your employer above to see if these programs are available to you.
