Do you know if your company has a matching gift program for charitable organizations? Well, YOUR Foundation, AXPEF, has made it easy for you to find out! Your annual contributions can easily be doubled or tripled by completing a simple form through your HR Benefit department.
If you volunteer with us, your employer may also provide us with a grant as a way to recognize your ongoing support.
Foundation Trustee, P. Martin Sharpless, Phi Lambda (Penn State 1983) explains "I joined Intuitive Surgical in May 2020, and have found a home at a highly philanthropic organization. They offer a generous match up to $4,000 each year for approved non-profit organizations. I just have to show them receipts for my annual giving to generate the match funds. I may be able to withhold direct to the Intuitive Surgical Foundation for giving from non-taxable funds as well, but I haven’t explored that option yet. I recommend checking with your employer before the year is out if they offer matching funds!"

Requesting a matching gift or volunteer grant is normally a five minute process which must be initiated by the donor / volunteer. You can do this by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer or through an electronic submission process.
