King County Search and Rescue Association (KCSARA) supports search and rescue teams with administrative, operations, and fundrasing support. Advocacy, public awareness and education are additional areas of focus. We aim to strengthen search and rescue teams and support volunteers so they can remain focused on what they do best - saving lives and bringing loved ones home to their families.
An easy way to double your contribution is through employee giving programs.
Many corporations match employee donations (or the tax deductible component of your membership) to our organization.
If you volunteer with search and rescue, your employer may also provide grants as a way to recognize your ongoing support. If you wish for your contribution to be directed to a SAR unit or KCSARA program, please note that when submitting your application - or email DoubletheDonation@KingCountySAR.org to let us know your wishes.

Volunteer grant programs are corporate giving programs in which companies provide monetary donations to organizations where employees volunteer regularly.
If you volunteer with us, it's an easy way to provide us with additional financial support!
Requesting a matching gift or volunteer grant is normally a five minute process which must be initiated by the donor / volunteer. You can do this by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer or through an electronic submission process.
