Friends of Joe Michell School is YOU!
Simply by having a child, grandchild, neighbor or friend at JMS. We invite you to get involved in YOUR parent-school partnership. The purpose of Friends of Joe Michell School (FJMS) is to:
1) Promote cooperation and goodwill within the school community including parents, guardians, and staff in all matters pertaining to the general welfare of the pupils of JMS
2) Promote and coordinate volunteers to assist school staff
3) Fundraise projects to support JMS needs not provided by other means.
Many corporations match employee donations (or the tax deductible component of your membership) to our organization.
If you volunteer with us, your employer may also provide us with a grant as a way to recognize your ongoing support.

Volunteer grant programs are corporate giving programs in which companies provide monetary donations to organizations where employees volunteer regularly.
If you volunteer with us, it's an easy way to provide us with additional financial support!
Requesting a matching gift or volunteer grant is normally a five minute process which must be initiated by the donor / volunteer. You can do this by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer or through an electronic submission process.
