Animal Humane New Mexico's mission is to support and improve the lives of New Mexico's companion animals through sheltering, adoption, humane education, and quality veterinary services to homeless pets and pets of families in need. An easy way to double your contribution is through employee giving programs.
As a private nonprofit shelter, we receive no city, state or federal funding; each dollar judiciously spent is earned or raised. And, we are incredible grateful for each life our amazing donors save.
If you volunteer with us, your employer may also provide us with a grant as a way to recognize your ongoing support.
We're dedicated to saving lives, but we can't do it without you. Thank you for checking to see if your company offers these programs!
Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations. It's an easy way to double your contribution to us!
Requesting a matching gift is normally a five-minute process that must be initiated by the donor. You can do this through an electronic submission process or by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer. Please search our database above for company-specific information.
Many companies offer Volunteer Grants (often called "Dollars for Doers"). If you volunteer a certain number of hours with us, your employer may provide us with a financial grant in recognition of your time. Some companies also offer Volunteer Time Off (VTO), allowing you to volunteer during work hours without using your personal PTO. Search for your employer above to see if these programs are available to you.
We partner with a company called Double the Donation. If you see anything that should be changed, please email Double the Donation's team at data@doublethedonation.com.
