We make it easy for your donors and volunteers to request matching gifts and volunteer grants. The amount of information varies by company, but we try to answer the following:

1. Does the company offer a matching gift or volunteer program?
2. What are the minimum and maximum dollar amounts that the company will match?
3. How many hours must someone volunteer in order to be eligible for a corporate volunteer grant?
4. Which employees are eligible?
5. What is the process for donors and volunteers?

Additionally, we always try to provide links to more information or attach a copy of the required form.

Our team utilizes two different methods to provide your donors and volunteers with accurate and complete corporate giving information.

Our primary source is through interacting directly with companies. We get the most accurate information when our staff researches and obtains program details directly from a company representative.

We also allow users to add or edit their company's corporate giving information. Upon submission, these entries go into our review process where we verify and expand on the company's matching gift and volunteer grant programs.

Our database contains matching gift and volunteer grant information for companies and subsidiaries representing millions of employees.

A review of the Fortune 500 companies found that approximately 65% offer matching gift programs while about 40% have volunteer grant programs. Take a look at some of the top matching gift and volunteer grant programs.

Although our database is extensive and provides corporate giving information on many of the largest companies in the United States, we recognize it isn't exhaustive. To ensure we provide your donors and volunteers with up-to-date information, we perform an annual review of all corporate giving programs. We invest heavily in our data quality as we know this is essential to making it easy for your donors and volunteers to submit these grant requests

That being said, we know our matching gift and volunteer grant information isn't perfect. Corporations provide us with varying amounts of information on their corporate giving programs. The most frequent piece of missing information is whether part-time employees and retirees are eligible. In these cases, we list part-time employees and retirees as eligible so we don't prevent your organization from receiving matching gift or volunteer grant funds.
